Eligibility Information

Who Can Enroll?

You are eligible to participate in the LASSD benefit plans if you are working a minimum of 21 hours per week. Your coverage will start on the first day of the month following your date of hire. You may also enroll your eligible dependents, including:

• Legally married spouse
• Your Qualified Domestic Partner (contact Human Resources for eligibility details)
• Your Children up to age 26 (natural, adopted, foster or stepchildren) If your dependent child is over age 26 and mentally or physically disabled, coverage can be continued with proof of the ongoing disability.
